About BioXact
Since its establishment in 2018, BioXact has assisted start-ups and multinationals in projects focused on the development of new alternative proteins, animal proteins produced by precision fermentation, and the implementation of methods for taste development. Examples include setting up a fungal expression platform, addressing downstream processing issues in production scale, and supporting clients with regulatory questions in Novel food dossier submissions.
About Lucie Pařenicová
Lucie Pařenicová has a PhD. in molecular biology of industrial microorganisms and 25+ years of industry experience in the field of food biotechnology. Prior to founding BioXact she worked as a Group Lead and Senior and Lead Scientist at DSM Food Specialties and successfully developed, amongst others novel bread anti-staling enzyme. Throughout her academic and industry career she always been connected to microorganisms and their products, but experienced working with plants as well. Relying on scientific knowledge and years of experience, she is passionate to apply her cross-disciplinary knowledge to bring the right solutions to clients.
